In fact, what we do is search the internet and as we find an items with genealogical information like names, dates, events, places and relationships, we add them this site. NOW BEING WRITTEN - THE AncestorSpy How To Manual

Before the internet, it was a challenge to find our ancestors. But now we can locate information quickly, thus making genealogy much more fun and rewarding. But even with all the new databases on the internet, some information evades us. The manual will guide you to more records and will tell you how to organize what you find. It is very important to organize, because many times we need to consult our records again. When we can quickly find information we already have, we will be more successful.

The Internet has provided may genealogy records, making it possible for us to find our ancestors in the comfort of our own home. Many records that were created where our ancestors lived and are currently thousands of miles from our  homes. Now many of them are available whenever we want to search them. We can even search them a 2 a.m. in the morning.

The goal is to provide a place that lists the records are available for states, counties and towns in the United States. If you know of records you would like listed, send an email to dkc@AncestorSpy.com. Please write Links for AncestorSpy in the subject line. We will examine the page and when we find it is helpful to family historians, we will add it to the AncestorSpy web site.
